Ana Lacerda Ceramics

I discovered ceramics in high school, but it was in 1992, when I left everything behind and went to Venda de Galizes for the Potter's Wheel Course at Cearte, that my life changed. There I learned to shape pieces on the wheel and create my own glazes and slips, something I still do today.

Over 35 years, I expanded my path: painting, drawing, meditation, Reiki, Shamanism, and working with the energy of Angels, which today translates into unique pieces and workshops, where I mix ceramic pastes with natural elements, stones, twigs, and branches.

I am a Co-Creator. I work with what I feel and what Nature gives me, and I share all of this with my students, because I believe that when there is will, the work is born.

Frequently asked questions

Can I wash the items in the dishwasher and put them in the microwave?

All utilitarian pieces for domestic use are lead-free and dishwasher and microwave safe; however, to maintain their beautiful shine, their use is not recommended.

For artistic pieces, I recommend washing them only with running water and cleaning them with a soft cloth.

Can I order something that's not on the website?

Contact us via email with your idea, or we can even chat on WhatsApp.

After we've aligned on what you want, I'll give you an approximate timeframe for the piece's completion.

When it's ready, I'll send you photos.

How long does a custom piece take to make?

Custom pieces are made from scratch. Anything you want to include in the piece (names, numbers, phrases, colors, etc.) should be indicated at the time of ordering.

Any piece, from creation to drying, firing, glazing, and re-firing (exactly in that order) takes between three to four weeks in warm weather and about five to six weeks in humid weather.

It's good to keep this in mind when placing your order in advance

Can I exchange the item if I don't like it?

I do not offer exchanges/returns on sold items as they are unique and produced in limited quantities, whether customized or not.

The items' measurements, material, capacity, and weight are detailed in their description, and the photos are as accurate as possible. You can find this information on the website analacerdaceramics.com

What if the part arrives damaged?

In the video I will send you during the packaging process, you will see how well the parts were protected for transport.

The handling of the merchandise by transport companies is not my responsibility.

If any part arrives damaged, please send photos of the packaging and the damaged parts as soon as possible so that I can analyze the situation and contact the transport company.

When will I receive my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with more information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

Do I have to pay anything in advance?

Yes! For custom orders, payment is made as follows:

  • 50% when you confirm the order.
  • 40% when the order is ready (I will send photos of the material before and during the packaging phase).
  • 10% plus shipping costs at the time of dispatch

It is important to note that:

  • All payments made are non-refundable.
  • Goods are delivered as-is, and returns are not possible.
How do I pay for the order?

How do I receive my order?

Shipping will be carried out via CTT for Portugal and the Islands. Via (distributor to be specified) for Europe and the rest of the world. Shipping costs are borne by the buyer and are not included in the price of the items.

I am not responsible for any possible loss by CTT. I always advise using registered or priority mail, as these are the most secure.

I want a part that's no longer for sale. What do I do?

The products presented on the website are subject to existing stock. In case of unavailability of any item, please contact me via email, onWhatsAppor leave a message on the atelieranalacerda.com website.

The order is a gift. Do you offer gift wrapping?

Products will not be gift-wrapped. Our focus here is to protect the artwork, which is packaged as best as possible with recycled materials, such as paper, so that everything arrives safely and intact!

📦 SHIPPING & CUSTOMS – DDU REGIME

Shipping will be done via carrier with a tracking number, under the DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) regime.
This means:

  • The customer is responsible for paying all import duties, customs fees, and UK VAT upon arrival.
  • The invoice will only reflect the value of the products and the cost of transport (if arranged by me) and packaging.


🔄 ALTERNATIVE OPTION – CUSTOMER-ORGANIZED COLLECTION

If you prefer, you can arrange shipping through a carrier or exporter of your choice.

Collection can be scheduled directly at my studio, by appointment.


🧾 INVOICING – B2B OR B2C FORMAT

There are two ways to issue the invoice, depending on the type of customer:

  1. B2B – Business to Business (for stores/resellers):
    If you have a valid VAT number in the United Kingdom, the invoice will be issued without Portuguese VAT (0%).
    VAT and import duties will be paid by you upon entry into the country, according to British tax legislation.
    This is the recommended format for stores and resellers.
  2. B2C – Business to Consumer (for private customers):
    If you do not have a VAT number, the invoice will be issued as a sale to a private customer.
    For orders above £135, VAT and customs charges will need to be paid upon arrival.
    This format may involve more bureaucracy in customs clearance, depending on the carrier.
